Egerszalók Salt Hill

The Eger Turkish Bath has centuries-old history. The Turkish basin was built between 1610 and 1617, during the Turkish occupation. The rest of the bath was built over the centuries to the original Turkish building. The dome, which was rebuilt in 1980, is a spectacular sight, covered with about 200,000 gold plated mosaics.
