Winter break in the Mátra Mountains – Winter Magic
The Mátra Mountains are a wonderful destination in winter too. Fresh mountain air, peaceful forests and the beauty of the winter landscape create the perfect setting for relaxation and recharging. When the region is covered in snow, you can take a leisurely walk or hike through the snowy forest, enjoy sledging or visit the Mátraszentistván Ski Park.
Snow, however, is not essential for a memorable winter break: the attractions, hiking destinations and fresh air of the Mátra Mountains offer plenty of opportunities throughout the season. After spending time outdoors, return to the hotel for a relaxing swim in the warm pools, unwind in the sauna or steam bath, and enjoy the peaceful winter atmosphere over a cup of hot coffee.
For a more active evening, add a game of bowling or billiards to your stay before ending the day with a buffet dinner.

Booking conditions
- Travel period: 1 December 2026 – 28 February 2027, subject to availability.

- During public holidays and other peak periods, the package may be available under different conditions or with limited availability.
- The package cannot be combined with other discounts, except for our returning guest discount.
A tip for an even more relaxing arrival
Arrive early and begin your stay with a leisurely lunch – on the day of arrival, we offer a lunch discount of HUF 3,000 per room with a minimum spend of HUF 8,000, between 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm.
Winter experiences in the Mátra Mountains
When there is snow, the Mátra Mountains offer plenty of opportunities for winter walks, hiking and sledging. Skiing enthusiasts can enjoy an active day on the slopes of the Mátraszentistván Ski Park. Before setting off, we recommend checking the latest snow and road conditions, as well as the current opening status of the ski slopes.

Child policy:
0 - 5 years 2 children are free of charge in the same room with 2 adults (3rd, 4th child gets 50% discount from the price for the extra bed)
6 - 11 years 50% discount from extra bed price
12 - 18 years price of the extra bed to be paid
There is no need to make an advance booking for the parking place.
